Join Hawaiʻi Young Healthcare Professionals as we tour the Waipahu High School Academic Health Center on Thursday, May 8, 2025 from 12-1pm. The Academic Health Center (AHC) opened in April 2024 in partnership with Hawaii Pacific Health (HPH). Located on the Waipahu High School campus, this primary care clinic is the first of its kind in the country where high school students serve a role in a school based health setting. The 1,870-square-foot center features four exam rooms and one treatment room.

The AHC provides local students in the Academy of Health & Sciences an opportunity to gain industry-level experience through job shadowing opportunities and internships on their school campus while serving their own community. The AHC is comprised of Primary Care Physicians and OBGYN as well as nurses, nurses assistance, and other clinical staff.

Lunch bentos will be provided to attendees after the tour.
